DLUBAL RFEM 5.09.01 180217

DLUBAL RFEM 5.09.01 | 1.8 Gb

Dlubal Software has released 5.09.01 version of RFEM is a powerful 3D FEA program helping structural engineers meet requirements in modern civil engineering. Efficient data input and intuitive handling facilitate modeling of simple and large structures.

The structural analysis program RFEM is the basis of a modular software system. The main program RFEM is used to define structures, materials, and loads for planar and spatial structural systems consisting of plates, walls, shells and members. The program also allows you to create combined structures as well as model solid and contact elements.

RFEM provides deformations, internal forces, stresses, support forces, and soil contact stresses. The corresponding add-on modules facilitate data input by automatic generation of structures and connections or can be used to perform further analyses and designs according to various standards.

Update Report No. 02475 RFEM 5-09-01 | 05/31/2017

- Implementation of interfaces with AutoCAD 2018 and Revit 2018
- Optimizations concerning info box of line supports - implementation of a value for distance of zero-crossing from line start
- Release of a function for export to Advance Steel (*.smlx)
- Optimizations in printout report concerning linking between graphic and corresponding visibility
- Improvements concerning representation of surface loads - now it is possible to allocate hatching to these loads
- Adjustments concerning setting for acceleration of gravity g - now it is synchronized between the main programs and DYNAM Pro. It is no longer possible to enter it discretely in RF-/DYNAM Pro.
- Adjustments concerning consideration of entered data for material model "Isotropic Damage" when using scientific notation (exponential)
- Adjustments concerning FE mesh generation in structures where nodes are placed on lines with line releases but without sharing them
- Adjustments in input and design concerning material model "Isotropic Damage"
- Adjustments concerning representation of height dimensions
- Adjustments concerning consideration of non-linearity "Partial Activity" on line supports in calculation by Newton-Raphson
- Adjustments concerning creation of line releases when other line releases already exist. It happened that adjacent objects were deleted.
- Optimization for representation of resultant of a section in report graphics without simultaneous representation of section description
- Adjustments concerning overall view of model corresponding to its limits. The origin of co-ordinates is no longer involved.
- Adjustments concerning consideration of stiffness modifications for surfaces
- Adjustments in solver concerning combination of line releases and nodal supports defined as "Column in Z"
- Adjustments concerning specific weight of aluminum according to ADM 2015
- Adjustments in table of member internal forces in main program as well as report for definition of locally restricted line hinges
- Adjustments concerning consideration of selected combination rules (SRSS/CQC) when exporting combination to main programs
- Adjustments concerning determination of resultant for sections of type "On line"
- Extension of function "Activate member divisions for large deformation or post-critical analysis" concerning import of initial strains from other load cases or load combinations
- Optimizations concerning renumbering of objects with existence of line and surface releases
- Adjustments concerning representation of spring constant and possibility to edit subsequently nodal supports as "Column in Z"
- Optimizations concerning result interpretation in results distributions
- Improved graphical representation of line support reactions - selection between constant and linear is now available in Display navigator

About Dlubal Software

Since its beginnings in 1987, the Dlubal company has been involved in the development of user-friendly and powerful software for structural and dynamic analysis. With RSTAB and RFEM Dlubal offers programs for the ambitious structural engineer that meets the requirements of modern civil engineering and mirrors the current state of art. RSTAB is a 3D framework program, while RFEM represents a 3D Finite Element Analysis (FEA) program. Both are the basis of a modular software system: This basic module calculates internal forces, deformations and support reactions. For the following design, add-on modules are available which account for the specific requirements of materials and codes. Due to this modular conception of the software, a package can be assembled that is tailored to individual demands.
